This is the thing we found in the hen's nest yesterday, that I was speaking of at dinner.  Such a strange object.  I suppose it might have exited the chicken through the mouth as well?  
any theories?  Can you write a tune about it?

Hi Bliss: What a great tunes session we had last week! While washing dishes
after the potluck, Stephan, Bonnie, Caroline, and I all agreed how much we
liked the new format you introduced. It kept our interest, stimulated our
creativity, and really seemed to cement the learning.
 
So I am really looking forward to future tunes session, but this week, alas,
I have a conflict. I'm taking my mother to a late afternoon doctor's
appointment tomorrow, and since it's Valentine's Day, I'm stay on to visit
and share a meal with her afterward. That will be fun and satisfying in its
own way, but I'll be sorry to miss tunes.
 
Please let me know what tunes you polish up tomorrow, and I'll do my best to
practice them on my own.

Hall calendar just now (looking to see whether there's a gentle yoga class
tomorrow), and it says there's no yoga class, and also says there's no tunes
session. Is that correct? Or are we meeting "off the record" anyway?

Yes, we are meeting tomorrow as usual.  The non official tune jam will meet anyway .... which means we'll just meet as usual.  I'll be down town already and will bring something easy.  Actually I may bring spatzle dough and cook it there.  Irish Camp is on this week so we'll be surrounded by all things Irish.  We should play a few Irish tunes to celebrate.

Hi tunesters,
Let's plan on revisiting The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Lovejoy's Lament, Marche au Camp and a new one which Jim will teach called Neil Gow's Lament (on the death of his 2nd wife).  Here is a link to a youtube video of it.  I recommend listening to the whole thing and then going back and listening only to the lament so it is fresh in your mind.  It is also in the waltz book, I think.
